THE CULTURE
ACCREDITED CLASSES
Elevate courses are taught at public high schools (Intro to Elevate, Elevater, Elevate Beyond)
District approved curriculum that fully aligns with Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE)
Unique model that teaches 13 Character Qualities & Life Skills
Students collaborate through experimental learning, group activities, and discussions
Cross-age mentoring occurs when high school students teach similar lessons to
elementary school students weekly






MENTORING
Teacher-Mentors are available to students after-school, on the weekends, and over the summer
Staff create bonds that help students discover their talents and strengths to develop personal goals
Teacher-Mentors lead with model behavior influencing the trajectory of the student's future
Practices like one-on-one and small group discussions are encouraged for building
intentional relationship





COLLEGE & CAREER

Students evaluate post-secondary options to create a career plan
Staff assist students with applications for college, scholarship and jobs etc.
Teachers-Mentors enhance vocational skills through mock interviews, resume building, and LinkedIn profile development
Elevate collaborates with with many in-school and community organizations to attend local job fairs, and college expos




Elevate believes in pushing students to explore life beyond their comfort zones
Through new and life changing experiences, students develop teamwork and leadership skills
Adventure trips can be used to expose students to various local attractions to
help them gain more insight of their home
Students have gone on riverboat rides, marsh bomb fires, state capitol tour,
Savannah Bananas baseball game and more
